Neil attended Kelvin High School in Winnipeg from 1961 to 1964.  The original structure (pictured) was built in 1912.  Reconstruction commenced in 1962 and continued until the 1965-66 academic year.  None of the original structure remains.

Rassy and Neil moved to the upper duplex at 1123 Grosvenor Ave. in the Crescentwood neighbourhood of Winnipeg during the fall of 1962.
